Consistent Effort with Room to Grow Rosa maintained a consistent pace around 13:00 min/mile throughout the 2026 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Her finishing time was 2:50:11, with an average pace of 12:59 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. Notably, Rosa showed strength in her pacing, with splits closely grouped in the 1213 min/mile range. This indicates a steady performance during most of the segments, despite a slightly slower pace in the latter half. Several points in the race, such as miles 6 and 10, slowed slightly with paces over 14:00 min/mile, perhaps offering opportunities to investigate pacing strategies. Despite this, she managed to recover and finish strong in the final mile. Remaining attentive to pacing during those longer stretches could provide gains in future races.
