Consistent Early Splits and Potential for Strong Finish Ashley Pasko showed a well-paced start in the 2026 Mesa Marathon 10K. Her early splits were quite consistent, with the second and third miles both showing improvements in pace. Ashley began with a split time of 15:41 for the first mile, progressed to 15:15 by the second mile, and maintained a similar pace of 15:12 for the third mile. At the fourth mile, she continued to improve with a pace of 14:55, suggesting potential for maintaining speed over longer distances. A drop in pace was noticed during the final two miles, recorded at 16:27 and 17:19 respectively, indicating areas to enhance endurance during later stages of the race. With an overall time of 1:37:04 and finishing 104th in the F45-49 division, focusing on later race pacing could result in significant improvements. Joining Team Amanda provided support, and utilizing team strategies could be beneficial in future races.
