Consistent Pace Throughout the Race William Perez maintained a strong and consistent performance throughout the 2026 Mesa Marathon. Starting with a pace of 8:37 min/mile in the first mile, he managed to quicken his pace in the second mile to 7:55 min/mile before settling into a steady pace between 8:22 and 8:44 min/mile for the remaining miles. His overall pace was 8:29 min/mile, with a total elapsed time of 1:51:10 over the 13.1 miles. Notably, Williams pacing consistency is evident, as he only had minor fluctuations in pace throughout the race. For example, his slowest mile split was 8:44, while his fastest was 7:55. Ending 81st in his division and 593rd in gender with an overall position of 968 out of 4125 participants, William demonstrated solid pacing skills.
