Consistent Performance with Improved Pace TsungYen Wu completed the 2026 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon with a time of 2:01:42, showcasing a remarkable improvement from the previous year's performance. He maintained an overall pace of 9:17 min/mile, a noticeable enhancement from the 9:26 min/mile achieved in the 2025 Mesa Marathon, shaving nearly two minutes off his overall time. These statistics reflect a strong, consistent pace across the 13.1-mile course. Focusing on mile splits, TsungYen started with a solid 9:08 min/mile pace for the first mile, highlighting his commitment to a steady start. Although there was a slight drop in pace between miles 6 and 7, where it reached 9:21 min/mile, he quickly returned to form with improved splits in subsequent miles. In particular, his 9:05 min/mile during mile 3 and 9:07 min/mile in mile 7 demonstrate his ability to maintain focus and pace control. Continuing to build consistency could further enhance his results in future races.
