Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Joseph Kehoe completed the 2026 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon with an impressive elapsed time of 1:07:29, averaging a pace of 5:09 min/mile. Throughout the race, Kehoe displayed excellent consistency in his splits, particularly maintaining a steady pace between 5:05 and 5:14 min/mile. Notably, in Mile 9, he achieved his best division placement, climbing to 3rd position in his age group (M25-29). His finishing kick was highlighted by a fast final mile of 4:59, showing strong endurance and speed. While his overall placement was 18th out of 4125 participants, he secured 5th place in his division. Compared to his previous race, Kehoe maintained a remarkably consistent pace, finishing only marginally slower than his 2025 performance. For future races, ensuring an even earlier build in speed similar to Mile 13 might further enhance overall results. Keep up the great work!
