Consistent Effort with a Fast Third Mile Kory maintained a solid pace throughout the 2026 Mesa Marathon 10K, achieving an overall elapsed time of 56:23. His average pace of 9:05 min/mile is notable. Particularly impressive was the third mile, which he completed at a strong pace of 8:44 min/mile, showing an ability to increase speed mid-race. The third split saw Kory improve his position to 257th overall and 37th in his division, M25-29. Although there was some variation in splits, notably in the second mile (9:20 min/mile) and the fifth mile (9:31 min/mile), maintaining a consistent effort throughout the race is commendable. Ending with a solid sixth mile (9:08 min/mile), Kory finished 526th overall out of 2851 participants. As a member of Andy's Boys, Kory represented well and could focus on minimizing pace fluctuations for even better future results.
