He began with a 9:12 min/mile and showed a gradual improvement, maintaining a near-even split with occasional pace accelerations. The 25th and 26th miles were particularly strong, clocking in at 8:02 and an impressive 7:29 min/mile, respectively, indicating a powerful finish. In terms of placement, Hayden secured 1158th place overall, placing 775th among male participants and 84th in the M19-24 division. Noteworthy improvements in mile splits were observed between miles 23 and 26, where he advanced significantly in his age division.
