Consistent Performance with Strong Pacing Kim Peterson delivered a steady performance at the 2026 Mesa Marathon, completing the half marathon in 2:19:54 with an impressive average pace of 10:40 min/mile. Her pace was consistently maintained across the course with minimal variation, highlighted by her fastest split of 10:15 min/mile during the second mile. Among the 4125 participants, Kim finished 2483rd overall, reflecting a solid effort. In comparison to previous races, Kim maintained a similar performance, particularly mirroring her result from 2024 with a slightly longer overall time. An interesting observation can be made from the last few miles where her split pace increased to just over 11 min/mile. There is room for slight improvement in the final miles to potentially enhance overall time.
