Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Caroline O'Connell displayed consistent pacing throughout the 2026 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon event. Although she experienced some fluctuation during the middle miles, her determination was evident from her opening mile at 8:43 min/mile to her closing mile at 8:41 min/mile. Her overall performance was characterized by a steady pace with an average of 8:47 min/mile. Notable stats include her splits at mile 3 and again at mile 12, where she had some of her slower times at 8:55 and 8:59 min/mile, respectively. Interestingly, despite these splits, she managed to improve her position slightly towards the end, demonstrating perseverance.
