Strong Finish with Accelerating Pace Sam Knoshaug displayed an impressive ability to improve his pace as the race progressed in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. Starting with a 9:52 mile, by the final mile he had accelerated to a 7:51 pace. This progression demonstrates significant stamina and speed endurance, crucial elements in achieving a better race time. Maintaining a consistent improvement across the race splits, Sam finished with an average pace of 8:51 min/mile. Notably, he improved his placement, moving up in the ranks as the race advanced. Starting in 368th overall, he concluded at 304th, showing a competitive spirit. Focusing on even greater stability in pace during the later miles can further enhance performance. Excellent teamwork with The Fishermen must have added motivation, providing an encouraging environment to challenge personal limits.
