Consistent Progression and Strong Performance Andrew demonstrated impressive pacing throughout the 2026 Mesa Marathon. With an overall time of 2:31:47 and an average pace of 5:47 min/mile, Andrew effectively paced himself, remaining consistent across the 26.2-mile course. Notably, Andrew's finish placed him 13th overall and 3rd in his division (M30-34) among 3,509 participants. His splits maintained a sub 6:00 min/mile for most of the race, showcasing resilience and endurance. Compared to his previous marathons, Andrew improved significantly from a 2:35:50 finish in 2025. This is a noteworthy advancement, shaving off over 4 minutes, while also improving pacing ability from 5:56 min/mile to 5:47 min/mile. The attention to maintaining speed between miles led to improvements in placement as well, advancing from 19th to 13th overall.
